Watch Instagram Recap Project: Vassé Rendezvous Scope of Work: Luxury Shipping Container Lounge for Outdoor Venue Location: Fort Worth, TX Lead Designer & Project Manager:  Guesscreative LLC Container Fabricator:  Bob's Containers Vassé Rendezvous is run by my mother, Demetrica Williams. This wonderful woman dreams of offering a place where people can come together to celebrate their unique experiences and enjoy the outdoors, whether for leisure, socializing, or business. She utilizes her beautiful 10 acre property in Fort Worth, Texas to rent out the space for intimate celebrations such as birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, family reunions, corporate picnics, etc. Demetrica desired a unique space to compliment the breathtaking property. She also needed an office space to be able to oversee these gatherings comfortably. Understanding her needs and budget, I began the process of developing a design to bring her vision to reality. I proposed to utilize a new / one Trip 40' High Cube (HC) Shipping Container to give her ample space. The dimensions of a standard HC shipping container is 8-0" W x 40'-0"L x 9'-6"H. That is 320 SF of floor area. The containers are strong, durable and fire resistant. They can be an efficient use of space when designed effectively. I needed to make sure that this project would be fabricated in a controlled factory setting by professionals, allowing for a better space. I knew that lounge space would be a valuable rentable asset for Vassé Rendezvous . I placed a 8' x 7' office on one end to maximize the long rectangular shape of the shipping container. The rest of the space will be maximized as the lounge area for those coming in from the hot sun or windy weather. The lounge area was strategically placed on the side of the shipping container double doors to give the flexibility of having an open space with 3 different door locations. This design decision gave passive ventilation and ample natural lighting. To add some flavor to the lounge, a rooftop deck with set of stairs welded onto the short end was added as well. The rooftop deck will add a layer of open air seating and an additional 320 SF to occupy which maximizes the amount of people that experience the lounge. Guesscreative executed the vision by designing the floor plans and elevations that gave the fabricators a clear concept of what is required for the project. Demetrica chose the paint colors she wanted, a deep chocolate exterior with beige interior, luxury vinyl tile flooring and ebony stained wood composite for the rooftop decking that also has cable wire railing. The windows and large 8' mirrored french doors have a bronze finish along with the beautiful sconces. The doors were very expensive. Lounge Floor Plan w/ MEPs: Lounge Section: Visual Renderings: Custom Shipping Container Lounge Structural Reinforcements: All openings were reinforced by 2x3 metal HSS framing. Exterior Wall Assembly: - Shipping Container Corrugated Metal - R-13 Sprayfoam Insulation - 2x4 Prime Whitewood Wood Studs - 1/2" Drywall There is also R-6.5 sprayfoam insulation in the floors & R-19 in the ceilings. The electrical panel is 150 Amps and the space will be heated / cooled by a 12,000 BTU Ductless Mini Split System with two blowers. I am grateful that the build came out successfully. We learned a lot during the process, particularly what to look for when building with certain fabricators. The task: to conceptualize, engineer, and bring to life a custom Facilities Storage Unit for Cerritos College in Los Angeles County. This project was not merely a contract; it is a gateway to our future in innovative design solutions and a testament to our commitment to flawless execution. Let us take you behind the scenes of this creative endeavor that wove together the threads of challenge and excitement, culminating in a unique space where form meets function with effortless grace. Our vision for Cerritos College was to craft a space that would not only serve its practical purpose but also become a hub of campus life. The initial blueprint featured a charming bagel shop, thoughtfully arranged within the embrace of two 20' High Cube Shipping Containers. These containers, placed a mere 8 feet apart, were united by a welcoming covered pergola. The intricacies of the design were carefully considered—while one container was poised to serve an array of bagels and refreshments, the other was to be a haven where students and faculty could convene for a moment of reprieve. Yet, true creativity flourishes within constraints . Our ability to adapt and innovate was put to the test when budgetary realities steered the project towards a more cost-effective design. The revised plan included one 20' and one 10' High Cube Shipping Container, both meticulously reimagined to not only meet the financial framework but also to maintain the essence of luxury and innovation that Guesscreative strives for. In transforming this vision into reality, ambiance was paramount. We curated details that would resonate with elegance and functionality : three majestic 72" exterior lighting fixtures to cast an inviting glow, an automatic serving window that promised efficiency with a touch of modernity, provisions for a TV that would enrich the dining experience, and a striking perforated screen that artistically concealed the essential utilities. Every element of this project was infused with our signature blend of design expertise and business acumen. I have this Adults Only modular trampoline park business concept on my mind. I'm not going to use it anytime soon but I still wanted to explore the idea. I enjoy strategizing. I enjoy learning. I definitely enjoy designing experiential spaces. Realistically, I actually want to see this concept in the world. I grew up on a trampoline so I know how fun it can be. So I'm putting the concept out for free. Read this & think on it. Do your research. Business Model: Adults Only Modular Constructed Trampoline Park / VR Arcade - 1600 SF I want to introduce a business model for a Modular Trampoline Park / VR Arcade. Advantages: The adults-only aspect of the business would attract a specific demographic that may not be interested in visiting a traditional trampoline park. Modular construction of the park allows for easy growth, scalability & state approval. Modular Construction speeds up & replicates the build process. A prototype would serve a lot of insight before scaling. The addition of VR games and equipment would provide an additional source of revenue and attract a different customer base. The revenue-sharing model for the VR arcade would provide a low-cost option for the business to offer VR experiences without having to purchase and maintain the equipment themselves. Potential business structure allows for Autonomous events if everyone signs a waiver to access park. Occupants to be responsible for themselves. Only bartender & security needed. The business could also expand by adding more steel modules and equipment to the existing park to increase capacity and attract more customers. Additional Modular experiences can be designed such as Rock Climbing, Baseball Simulator, Basketball Court, Laser Tag Course, etc. Disadvantages: The adults-only aspect may limit the potential customer base and make it more difficult to attract a large number of customers. Music and atmosphere will be extremely important. Dim lighting around all areas except for the trampoline park may be a powerful solution. It would be extremely fun. A VR arcade may require additional staff and training to ensure the equipment is properly maintained and operated. To eliminate this, use standard arcade games. Adding in the fact that the business is adults-only with a bar would likely have a positive impact on the projections for each of the business models, as it provides additional revenue streams from alcohol sales. However, it's important to note that the projections would also depend on the local laws and regulations regarding alcohol sales and consumption. Here are some potential adjustments to the previous projections: Pay-per-use: Assuming an admission fee of $40 per person, with an average of 500 customers per month, an average of $5 additional revenue per customer from additional activities and promotions, and an average of $15 per customer from alcohol sales, the gross monthly income would be $30,000. That easily dissolved the tension in a lot of conversation that I've had with women over the years. Choosing to build a custom shipping container home can be a very cool alternative to home construction. This past building code cycle, the international code council adopted shipping containers as a legitimate method for construction. All permitted containers have to follow the international residential code 2021. I plan to design and build one of the coolest luxury container homes for myself in the future. I want to share this knowledge with you and maybe you will want a custom container home yourself. There is a lot of potential for growth in this building method because of the infrastrure built around these containers for the import/ export of goods. It gives so much flexibility to the home creation process. Most consider these units to be trailers, which in part is true but it takes a different eye to see the potential of what these units can be. Think of the container home structure like an exoskeleton. Have you ever seen an ironclad beetle? Its body serves as its structure that houses all of the softer parts within. The shipping container’s cortex steel siding becomes the exterior siding for your home and everything else is built from within. There will be framing, insulation & drywall built on the interior surface of that corten steel container wall. Unfortunately, I have to debunk a few myths about Shipping Container Homes first: Myth #1: Shipping Container Homes are tiny homes / trailers Shipping Containers come in a variety of sizes. The most standard sizes being 8’ x 40’ & 8’ x 20’ which means 320 SF & 160 SF, respectively. Using one singular container obviously will be tiny but these units can combine to create something substantial and interesting. Think of them like legos but keep in mind that the shipping container's strength is spread on all 4 corner posts. The structure would be compromised. These corner posts can never be removed and that serves as a limitation at times but within the constraints, luxury can be created. These units are essentially building blocks that are only bound by your imagination and creativity. Containers can even be designed to be ADA accessible. Myth #2: Shipping Container Homes are the low cost solution Contrarily to most beliefs, unless you’re building a shipping container home on your own somewhere in the back country that doesn’t require building codes, a custom shipping container home will not be the cheapest option. Everything that a normal home requires for construction has to be incorporated into the shipping container home. Trust me, there’s a lot that is required for any home to be approved by your local building department and that’s for your safety. Typically, a quality mid-luxury container home will average around $250-$270 / SF. That does not include the cost of your property or any site work. Also, be mindful that there are a lot of soft costs up front that are required before construction such as design, construction documents, structural engineering, fire sprinkler design, solar panels, utilities etc. If you're looking for a more inexpensive home solution, trailer park homes or modular homes with very inexpensive finishes might be a better direction. Myth #3: You mean my home can be transported anywhere?? Yes in theory (post fabrication) until you’d like it to become a permanent residence. To get it built and approved in any state that abides by stringent building codes, the container home will have to be permanently fixed to a foundation. This means the home will be welded down to make sure it doesn’t get taken away in a natural disaster. This also helps lenders understand what they are giving you money for. The biggest question for lenders is in the fabrication stage. Your home will technically be personal property and not real estate until it is fixed to a permanent foundation. Myth #4: Used Containers can be used for permitted construction Unfortunately, the thought of repurposing used shipping containers that have sailed across the seas is not realistic. It's a noble concept but in areas like California, one can only construct a permitted shipping container home if the containers are new or a one trip container. That is for our safety. You wouldn't want a home made of something that has already taken stresses and loads. When taking a shipping container home into consideration, it is best to go with the new or one way trip. Although using new containers isn't as sustainable as recycling containers, there are still a few sustainable results that directly result from using the shipping container for a custom homes. The results include the repurposing containers for a holistic reasons....shelter. Everyone needs shelter. It's a fundamental human need. It reduces waste by completing more in factory and reduces the average time of home construction. Stick built construction could be 12.5 months. Shipping container homes average around 8-12 weeks for construction. Understanding all of this, the next question that people typically ask is: Why would I choose to build a Container Home over a traditional home since it isn’t necessarily cheaper? The biggest advantage I’d say, is the speed of construction: 50% of the home’s structure is done in factory and can be installed on your property in less than a week. That can save you so much in labor costs. You will not have to completely rely on a contractor not showing up to build your home. Durability / Ease of Maintenance: A container house is made of steel. It is very strong and built to withstand extreme weather on the ocean. Plus you don’t have to worry about pests ruining your house. No rat or termite will be biting through steel. Eco-Friendly: Hundreds of thousands of containers are sitting on docks unused. Repurposing these containers not only reduces waste but it also reduces the footprint that you have on your property. We aren’t here to exploit the Earth, we should be working to live in harmony with Earth, only using the resources and space that we actually need. Affordability / Customizable: Although the home construction process is expensive in general, using container homes gives you the freedom to have a luxury space designed to reflect to your living habits at a reasonable price range. There is complete flexibility in the design as long as it’s within the container’s natural restraints. This opens up opportunity for rooftop decks, balconies, courtyard spaces & even double-height spaces (i.e. tall ceilings). Some of the biggest disadvantages that I've came across for this construction method is its novelty. The majority of lenders haven't dealt with this kind of construction before. Custom Container Home Building also requires a lot of capital upfront as companies such as Kubed Living would have to guide you through the building permitting process which includes having structural engineered drawings based on your custom shipping container home design. If you choose a cheaper (more difficult in most cases) property to build a home, you will end up paying for it in the long run. Hillside properties and properties that do not already have the utility infrastructure may run your bill up with electricity & sewer costs. Aside from the building requirements that every new construction has to go through, shipping container construction is a very viable solution to your custom homebuilding needs. As I continue to improve and grow in my design prowess, I aim to move towards designing full modular housing communities. I will discuss what modular means in a different blog post. You can read it below 2021 International Building Code (IBC) SECTION 3115 (Special Construction) INTERMODAL SHIPPING CONTAINERS The provisions of Section 3115 and other applicable sections of this code shall apply to intermodal shipping containers that are repurposed for use as buildings or structures, or as a part of buildings or structures. Exceptions: Intermodal shipping containers previously approved as existing relocatable buildings complying with Chapter 14 of the International Existing Building Code . Stationary storage battery arrays located in intermodal shipping containers complying with Chapter 12 of the International Fire Code . Intermodal shipping containers that are listed as equipment complying with the standard for equipment, such as air chillers, engine generators, modular data centers, and other similar equipment. Intermodal shipping containers housing or supporting experimental equipment are exempt from the requirements of Section 3115 , provided that they comply with all of the following: 4.1. Such units shall be single stand-alone units supported at grade level and used only for occupancies as specified under Risk Category I in Table 1604.5 . 4.2. Such units are located a minimum of 8 feet (2438 mm) from adjacent structures, and are not connected to a fuel gas system or fuel gas utility. 4.3. In hurricane-prone regions and flood hazard areas , such units are designed in accordance with the applicable provisions of Chapter 16 . 3115.2 Construction documents. The construction documents shall contain information to verify the dimensions and establish the physical properties of the steel components and wood floor components of the intermodal shipping container, in addition to the information required by Sections 107 and 1603 . 3115.3 Intermodal shipping container information. P CDP Intermodal shipping containers shall bear an existing data plate containing the following information as required by ISO 6346 and verified by an approved agency. A report of the verification process and findings shall be provided to the building owner. Manufacturer's name or identification number. Date manufactured. Safety approval number. Identification number. Maximum operating gross mass or weight (kg) (lbs). Allowable stacking load for 1.8G (kg) (lbs). Transverse racking test force (Newtons). Valid maintenance examination date. Where approved by the building official , the markings and existing data plate are permitted to be removed from the intermodal shipping containers before they are repurposed for use as buildings or structures or as a part of buildings or structures. apps 3115.4Protection against decay and termites. Wood structural floors of intermodal shipping containers shall be protected from decay and termites in accordance with the applicable provisions of Section 2304.12.1.1 . 3115.5 Under-floor ventilation. The space between the bottom of the floor joists and the earth under any intermodal shipping container , except spaces occupied by basements and cellars, shall be provided with ventilation in accordance with Section 1202.4 . 3115.6 Roof assemblies. Intermodal shipping container roof assemblies shall comply with the applicable requirements of Chapter 15 . Exception: Single-unit, stand-alone intermodal shipping containers not attached to, or stacked vertically over, other intermodal shipping containers, buildings or structures. 3115.7 Joints and voids. Joints and voids that create concealed spaces between connected or stacked intermodal shipping containers at fire-resistance-rated walls, floor or floor/ceiling assemblies and roofs or roof/ceiling assemblies shall be protected by an approved fire-resistant joint system in accordance with Section 715 . 3115.8 Structural. Intermodal shipping containers that conform to ISO 1496-1 and are repurposed for use as buildings or structures, or as a part of buildings or structures, shall be designed in accordance with Chapter 16 and this section. 3115.8.1 Foundations. Intermodal shipping containers repurposed for use as a permanent building or structure shall be supported on foundations or other supporting structures designed and constructed in accordance with Chapters 16 through 23 . 3115.8.1.1 Anchorage. Intermodal shipping containers shall be anchored to foundations or other supporting structures as necessary to provide a continuous load path for all applicable design and environmental loads in accordance with Chapter 16 . 3115.8.2 Welds. New welds and connections shall be equal to or greater than the original connections. 3115.8.3 Structural design. The structural design for the intermodal shipping containers repurposed for use as a building or structure, or as part of a building or structure, shall comply with Section 3115.8.4 or 3115.8.5 . 3115.8.4 Detailed design procedure. A structural analysis meeting the requirements of this section shall be provided to the building official to demonstrate the structural adequacy of the intermodal shipping containers. Exception: Intermodal shipping containers designed in accordance with Section 3115.8.5 . 3115.8.4.1 Material properties. Structural material properties for existing intermodal shipping container steel components shall be established by material testing where the steel grade and composition cannot be identified by the manufacturer's designation as to manufacture and mill test. 3115.8.4.2 Seismic design parameters. The seismic force-resisting system shall be designed and detailed in accordance with one of the following: Where all or portions of the corrugated steel container sides are considered to be the seismic force-resisting system, design and detailing shall be in accordance with the ASCE 7 , Table 12.2-1 requirements for light-frame bearing-wall systems with shear panels of all other materials. Where portions of the corrugated steel container sides are retained, but are not considered to be the seismic force-resisting system, an independent seismic force-resisting system shall be selected, designed and detailed in accordance with ASCE 7 , Table 12.2-1. Where portions of the corrugated steel container sides are retained and integrated into a seismic force-resisting system other than as permitted by Item 1, seismic design parameters shall be developed from testing and analysis in accordance with Section 104.11 and ASCE 7 , Section 12.2.1.1 or 12.2.1.2. 3115.8.4.3 Allowable shear value. The allowable shear values for the intermodal shipping container corrugated steel sheet panel side walls and end walls shall be demonstrated by testing and analysis accordance with Section 104.11 . Where penetrations are made in the side walls or end walls designated as part of the lateral force-resisting system, the penetrations shall be substantiated by rational analysis. 3115.8.5 Simplified structural design of single-unit containers. Single-unit intermodal shipping containers conforming to the limitations of Section 3115.8.5.1 shall be permitted to be designed in accordance with the simplified structural design provisions of Section 3115.8.5.2 . 3115.8.5.1 Limitations. The use of Section 3115.8.5 is subject to the following limitations: The intermodal shipping container shall be a single-unit, stand-alone unit supported on a foundation and shall not be in contact with or supporting any other shipping container or other structure. The intermodal shipping container top and bottom rails, corner castings, and columns or any portion thereof shall not be notched, cut, or removed in any manner. The intermodal shipping container shall be erected in a level and horizontal position with the floor located at the bottom. 4.The intermodal shipping container shall be located in Seismic Design Category A, B, C or D. 3115.8.5.2Simplified structural design. Where permitted by Section 3115.8.5.1 , single-unit, stand-alone intermodal shipping containers shall be designed using the following assumptions for the corrugated steel shear walls: The appropriate detailing requirements contained in Chapters 16 through 23 . Response modification coefficient, R = 2. Overstrength factor, Ω0 = 2.5. Deflection amplification factor, Cd = 2. Limits on structural height, hn = 9.5 feet (2900 mm). 3115.8.5.3 Allowable shear. The allowable shear for the corrugated steel side walls (longitudinal) and end walls (transverse) for wind design and seismic design using the coefficients of Section 3115.8.5.2 shall be in accordance with Table 3115.8.5.3 , provided that all of the following conditions are met: The total linear length of all openings in any individual side wall or end wall shall be limited to not more than 50 percent of the length of that side wall or end wall, as shown in Figure 3115.8.5.3(1) . Any full-height wall length, or portion thereof, less than 4 feet (305 mm) shall not be considered as a portion of the lateral force-resisting system, as shown in Figure 3115.8.5.3(2) . All side walls or end walls used as part of the lateral force-resisting system shall have an existing or new boundary element on all sides to form a continuous load path, or paths, with adequate strength and stiffness to transfer all forces from the point of application to the final point of resistance, as shown in Figure 3115.8.5.3(3) . Where openings are made in container walls, floors or roofs, for doors, windows and other openings: 4.1 The openings shall be framed with steel elements that are designed in accordance with Chapters 16 and 22 . 4.2 The cross section and material grade of any new steel element shall be equal to or greater than the steel element removed. 5. A maximum of one penetration not greater than 6 inches (152 mm) in diameter for conduits, pipes, tubes or vents, or not greater than 16 square inches (10 323 mm2) for electrical boxes, is permitted for each individual 8-foot (2438 mm) length of lateral force-resisting wall. Penetrations located in walls that are not part of the lateral force-resisting system shall not be limited in size or quantity. Existing intermodal shipping container vents shall not be considered a penetration, as shown in Figure 3115.8.5.3(4) . 6. End wall doors designated as part of the lateral force-resisting system shall be welded closed.

What is Meditation? Meditation is simply the practice of bringing your awareness into the present moment. It’s about training your mind to slow down, let go of distractions, and connect with yourself. Think of it like closing all the internet tabs in your mind and just being. How to Start (Beginner's Guide) Find a Quiet Space  – Sit on the floor, a cushion, or even a chair. Keep your back straight but relaxed. Set a Timer  – Start with 5 minutes  (you can increase over time). Focus on Your Breath  – Inhale slowly for 4 seconds , hold for 4 seconds , exhale for 4 seconds . Observe Your Thoughts  – Your mind will wander. That’s normal. When it happens, just notice the thought, let it pass, and bring your focus back to your breath. Be Present  – You can focus on your breath, the sounds around you, or even just the feeling of sitting still. The goal is to stay in the moment. What to Expect At first, your mind might feel noisy—like a browser with too many tabs open. Over time, meditation helps clear that clutter, bringing calm, focus, and clarity  into your life. You can meditate in silence. You can use a guided meditation (YouTube has great ones). You can play calming sounds ( nature , white noise, or meditation music ). There’s no right or wrong way—just keep showing up. The more you do it, the easier it gets. Try to do this daily. Extend the time when it feels right. Clear Your Mind. Design Your Life.

"The future of money lies in freedom, not control." There comes a moment in every truth seeker's journey when the veil is lifted, and we see the world for what it truly is. For me, this moment came when I reevaluated everything I thought I knew about money—how it works, how it flows, and how it impacts our lives. The Wake-Up Call: My Journey Toward Financial Freedom I need to be vulnerable with you. Despite my passion for economics ( I was even awarded "most outstanding student" in my high school economics class ), I found myself accumulating $40,000 in consumer credit card debt . This wasn't the plan. But sometimes our greatest challenges become our greatest teachers. My focus has been on creating investment vehicles that will supercharge my future. I'm proud of what I've created so far but here’s what I learned: our current financial system is designed to trap us in cycles of debt while making it increasingly difficult to build real wealth. As a designer, I’ve trained myself to spot patterns and analyze systems. What I see in our financial system both concerns and motivates me. Money will become completely digital. The Hidden Wealth Killer: Understanding Inflation Let’s break this down simply: The dollar is fiat money  — backed by nothing but government promises. It used to be backed by Gold but that was ended in 1971 by president Nixon. When governments print more money, your savings lose value . Inflation isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a silent wealth destroyer . Think of inflation like a leak in your savings bucket. No matter how much you save in traditional accounts, you're losing purchasing power every year . Over time, what once felt secure begins to feel like sand slipping through your fingers. Characteristics of Money For any form of money to be effective, it must possess key attributes that determine its usability and reliability. These characteristics define the strength and utility of a currency in facilitating trade, preserving value, and fostering financial stability. Fungibility   (Interchangeability) Every unit of money should be identical in value and function. One dollar, one ounce of gold, or one Bitcoin should be interchangeable with itself. For example, One dollar is always equal to another dollar, that's why it is our money. Durability   (Longevity & Resistance to Wear) Money should be able to withstand the test of time and maintain its functionality. It should not degrade or become unusable due to environmental factors or repeated use. Portability   (Ease of Transport & Transfer) Money must be easy to carry and move across distances. The more efficiently it can be transferred—physically or digitally—the more practical it becomes for trade and commerce. Divisibility   (Breaking Down into Smaller Units) Money should be divisible into smaller units to accommodate transactions of all sizes. This allows for precision in pricing and accessibility across various economic activities. Scarcity   (Limited Supply for Value Retention) For money to hold value over time, its supply must be limited. If it can be endlessly created, its purchasing power diminishes, leading to inflation and loss of wealth. This is what we are seeing in our economy today. This is why everything is getting more expensive. Security   (Resistance to Counterfeiting & Fraud) A sound form of money must be difficult or impossible to counterfeit. It should have inherent safeguards that maintain its authenticity and integrity. Verifiability   (Ease of Authenticity Checks) People must be able to easily verify that the money they receive is legitimate without relying on central authorities or complicated procedures. Established History   (Proven Track Record of Reliability) A currency's longevity contributes to its trustworthiness. The longer it has successfully functioned as money, the more confidence people have in its continued stability. Censorship Resistance   (Freedom from Control & Manipulation) True money should not be subject to political interference, government freezes, or restrictions on how and when it can be used. Open Programmability   (Ability to Be Integrated & Automated) In the digital era, money must be adaptable to technological advancements. It should be able to interact with smart contracts, automated systems, and new financial infrastructures. Decentralization   (Independence from Central Authorities) For ultimate financial freedom, money should not be controlled by a single entity. Decentralization ensures resilience, trustlessness, and protection from systemic failures. As you can see, when we consider the characteristics of money, some are more practical than others. Bitcoin: The Digital Solution to Physical Problems Understanding Bitcoin as a Protocol Bitcoin isn’t just another technology; it’s a protocol— a foundational set of rules that governs how the system operates. Protocols like TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) , which power the internet, are rare because they form the enduring infrastructure for everything built on top of them. Similarly, Bitcoin’s protocol creates a decentralized monetary system that is mathematically engineered and has been objectively true for the past 16 years. Here’s why this matters: Protocols Are Resilient : Technologies often evolve and become obsolete, but protocols endure. TCP/IP, developed in the late 1960s, still underpins the internet today. Bitcoin, as a protocol, establishes the foundation for a global, decentralized financial system that operates beyond borders. Mathematical Certainty : Bitcoin’s protocol ensures scarcity (only 21 million coins will ever exist), security through cryptographic proof, and decentralization via distributed nodes. Bound by Energy : Bitcoin’s Proof of Work mechanism ties it to physical energy, ensuring fairness and grounding it in the real world. When we participate in the Bitcoin network, you’re not just a user—you’re an enforcer of this honest protocol. Together, individuals globally uphold this system, making Bitcoin an asset based on collective effort rooted in transparency and trustless security. Buy a Cold Wallet to send all of your crypto currency. Ledger or Trezor wallets are most common Pay Down Debt Tackle high-interest liabilities first. Balance paying off debt with building assets. A Designer's Perspective: Building Systems for Freedom As an innovative designer, I see Bitcoin as more than money—it’s a perfectly designed solution  to a deeply flawed financial system. It’s about: Autonomy over authority - It's a Trustless System. Mathematics over manipulation Freedom over control This is about empowering individuals. It’s about creating a system that allows everyday people to protect and grow their wealth without interference. Moving Forward Together Yes, I have credit card debt. Yes, I’m still learning and growing. You are in Control of How You Respond to What Happens to You. So Why not Choose Thoughts that Serve the Best Version of You? Your Mind is All There is. Thoughts Become Things. Look. Everything Around You Exists because Someone Decided to Think. Race is a Man Made Concept—it’s not Even Real. Yeah, We Have Black Skin, but Within,   Our Soul Reveals. Blackness is an Epigenetic Experience, Transitioned from Slavery & Working in the Fields. They Controlled Our Minds, but Our Collective Spirit Won't Yield. How do We Balance the Fact that We're not in Control... Yet We are Responsible for the Outcome of Our Lives? Freedom begins from Within. Go for What You Want. Let that Light Shine. Know that You have More to Offer the World than what You Currently Can See. Use that Third Eye. Connect that Mind with that Body. Listen With Your Heart. Listen to Your Soul. Find your Inner Chi. See, I Like This Version of Me. I am a powerful Inner G. I am a Black man living a Black experience. I am creative. I am cool. I am powerful. I am innovative. I am resourceful too. I am relaxed. I am reflective. I am loving. I am healthy. I am wealthy. Social Media's Distortion of Success Social media has created an illusion about what success truly means. Social media presents success as something that can be quickly obtained, but this couldn't be further from the truth. This illusion has created anxiety in many of us, making us believe that we need to be successful with fame, fortune, jewelry and a business to feel validated in society. Redefining Success We have to put out a different message. True success  requires: Hard work Discipline Focus Continuity A Direction / Goal Success isn’t microwavable. It’s unrealistic to expect it overnight. The definition of success itself needs to be revisited. The definition of success is: The accomplishment of an aim or purpose. “There is a thin line between success and failure.” The attainment of fame, wealth, or social status. “Her success owed more to hard work than luck.” A person or thing that achieves desired aims or attains fame, wealth, etc. “Overall, the fair was a great success.” I actually believe that fame or wealth should not be the criteria for success. While they are products of success, one can still be successful without any of those. Earl Nightingale once noted that: “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.” This definition shifts the focus to fulfillment in the journey itself. Success becomes a personal, subjective measure—each of us have different goals and ideals that define our paths. Therefore, we have the power to define what success means for us . Once we set our ideal, we must go after it relentlessly, without doubt or fear. How Do We Achieve This? By pressing forward at our own pace. All progress is good progress. Dismantle limiting beliefs, one by one. What we desire already exists. What we want, we already have. The true power lies in believing and acting as if we already possess it. My goal in life is to move at the pace required of me to stay on my purpose. Moving at Your Own Pace Sometimes that pace might be a slow jog. Other times, it could be a full sprint. Occasionally, it might be a skip or gallop. My pace is determined by my goals, values, and drive to achieve what I want. For you, it may be different. I’m not telling anyone how to live their life—I'm finding my voice so I can share sentiments that can help us all shift from a fear- or comparison-based mindset to a mindset that is indestructible & unshakeable . There is no "right" way to live life. But I do know that adopting a mindset that serves your highest good is the key to fulfillment. Happiness is fleeting. Fulfillment, on the other hand, is serenity. My Purpose and Intentions At 31 years old, my purpose is to experience all the good this world has to offer so I can share it with others. I want to show that good exists. I aim to inspire hope and prosperity with the skills that I've unlocked for myself along my journey. I am working to realize my best self so I can share the keys to unlocking the higher power within us all. I have hope for humanity. I look forward to creating the reality I want to see and that is a more positive and abundant reality for us all. Controlling Our Reactions We must move with a knowing that what is supposed to happen in our lives will happen. That happening will either be a blessing or a lesson. That is all that I accept. If something is out of our control, why stress? Bruce Lee once noted that: “ Absorb what is useful, discard what is not, add what is uniquely your own. ” It is useless to take responsibility for things that are out of your control and never were in your control to begin with. Know that Stress kills. One must avoid it at all costs. It starts & ends in the mind. This one tweak to your life’s perception can make all the difference in your experience. Life be Lifin’. What will be, will be. Does shit happen? Yes, absolutely. So what? What are you going to do about it? Run Your Race Understand: It’s not what happens to you that matters. It’s how you respond. There is always something to reflect upon and learn from. For example, your tire bursts on the way to work. Two ways to perceive this situation: The Negative Outlook : “Oh, woe is me. This always happens at the worst times. The universe is against me. Now I’m late, I’ll get fired, and my life is ruined.” The Empowered Outlook : “I'm grateful I’m still alive. Maybe this tire burst saved me from a collision later. I’ll take it as a reminder to check my tires and maintain my vehicle.” Choose empowering thoughts. Negative thinking serves no purpose. It only stifles your potential to find a solution that suits your be st interests. It may f eel easier said than done at first, but the mind is a muscle that can be strengthened. Choose yourself. Choose thoughts that empower you. Take Control of Your Reality Imagine the peaceful feeling of making life decisions with the full knowledge that you control the quality of your life experience. Set Boundaries. People will judge you for choosing yourself—let them. Uncommon advice, if you aren't sure about what path to pursue, pursue yourself. Pursue becoming the most confident, healthy, present, healed, and happy version of you. No matter where you are in life, changing your perspective to make healthy decisions for yourself will change your life. I can guarantee that. Conviction vs. Delusion To truly take control of your mind and reality, you must: Believe in yourself Feel as if Act as if Thoughts + Feelings + Actions = Manifestation One thing is for certain: The past has already happened, and we don’t know the future. Essentially, they don’t exist. All you have are memories and desires. The only reality is the present moment—because it is always right now. Think about that. The rest is in your mind. There are many ways to live this life. No one can tell you the right way to live for you. Choose to live the life you prefer. Run your race at your own pace.But always press forward. Success requires: Reflection Discipline Awareness Patience Willpower And most importantly, never quit. Final Thoughts Choose to make a decision right now that will benefit the future you. Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, my childhood was anything but ordinary. I was a curious and adventurous child, always on the move, always discovering. My journey from an inquisitive boy to an award-winning designer is a tale of exploration, creativity, and relentless pursuit of dreams. My Father's World of Wonder Imagine a backyard that was part treasure trove, part playground. That was my father's domain—a world where every corner held a new surprise. My dad was like a suave version of Fred Sanford, collecting everything cool he could find. He was a builder, model, maintenance man, cook, and the smoothest dresser around. My dad is full of wisdom. He is the reason why I choose to lead through positivity because he gave me to tools to understand that our lives are created by the choices we make. Exploring his backyard & garage sparked my curiosity and ignited my imagination, teaching me to see beauty in the mundane and potential in the overlooked. Embracing Independence and Creativity When my parents separated, I moved to Forest Hill with my enterprising mother. She is a switchblade of creativity, independence and attention to detail, always finding unique ways to create opportunities. Whether crafting and selling gift baskets or working as a travel agent, she rarely worked for others. Her entrepreneurial spirit became my blueprint, showing me that with creativity and determination, anything is possible. Today, my mother owns a 10 acre private outdoor event venue in Fort Worth, Texas that is currently vitalizing the community by giving a peaceful venue for locals to celebrate their lives & accomplishments. The Great Outdoors: My Playground and Classroom From basketball and biking to climbing trees and flipping on trampolines, the outdoors was my playground. I challenged myself with new adventures daily, balancing good grades in school with thrilling escapades. I was the king of hide and seek, always finding new ways to test my limits. These experiences taught me resilience and resourcefulness—qualities that are now the backbone of my career. Influences and Inspirations Family was my anchor and my inspiration. My uncle, a boxer and motorcycle enthusiast, and my grandpa, a 2Pac fan, epitomized coolness and smoothness. They taught me the importance of staying true to oneself and finding joy in every moment. Art was another passion, even though I wasn’t the best artist. I loved bringing my ideas into reality, earning several art awards as a child. This early love for art and design continues to drive my creative projects today. Early Mastery of Technology By twelve, I was already designing homes on the computer, merging my love for technology with my passion for design. This early tech-savviness set the stage for my future endeavors, allowing me to innovate and push the boundaries of traditional design. From educational computer games to sophisticated architectural designs, technology has always been my playground. Leadership and Social Skills Leadership came naturally to me. I was a neighborhood leader. I had the fun house with friends from all walks of life flocking to my house to enjoy a good time & great people. This ability to connect with diverse people has been crucial in my professional life, helping me build strong teams and foster collaborative environments. It’s a skill I continue to hone, ensuring every project is a collective success. Continual Exploration and Innovation Just as I explored the woods as a teenager, visualizing different spaces within nature, I continue to explore new ideas and innovations in my field. This mindset drives me to create designs that are not only functional but also harmonious and inspiring. It’s about seeing the world differently and finding beauty and potential in every corner.
